Delmer Ray Trimble 1946-2012

MORGANTOWN, WV — Delmer Ray Trimble, 66, passed away Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, in Morgantown, W.Va.  

He was born Feb. 13, 1946, in Paintsville, a son of the late Luther Grant and Tellie Tackett Trimble.  

Delmer enjoyed picnics and loved his family. He always thought of others first, had a great sense of humor and avidly loved woodworking and playing golf. He was famous for his meatloaf. For the past six months of his life, he had the pleasure of living with each of his daughters and their families, leaving them with precious memories.  

He was also preceded in death by his previous wife, Carolyn Pettit Trimble; two sisters, Anna Spears (Earl) and Eulah Reynolds. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Carolyn Capps Trimble; two daughters, Susan Flowers (Allen) of Morgantown and Katherine Moore of Olive Hill; two stepsons; four grandchildren, Garrett Demase, Lauren Moore and McKayla and Carissa Sergeant; a brother, James Trimble (Sharon) of Lexington; three sisters, Mabel Spears Johnson, Arminta McIntyre Copley (Don) and Beulah Chambers, all of Ashland; and several nieces and nephews.  

A celebration of life will be at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home in Lexington by Brother Jim Crouch.  Burial will be in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens in Lexington.  

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass, 2312 Alexandria Drive, Lexington KY 40504.
