CARTER —
Mrs. Lorraine J. Slusher, 95, of Gainesville, Ga., died Monday, July 30, 2012, in Bell-Minor Nursing Home.
Born in Olive Hill, Mrs. Slusher had lived in Hall County, Ga., for the past two years. She was the daughter of the late Andrew Qualls and Roxie Brown Pepper.
Mrs. Slusher was also preceded in death by two daughters, Margaret Foltz and Barbara Rogers.
Mrs. Slusher was a homemaker and a member of Cool Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Betty L. Combs of Gainesville, Carolyn and Donald Angel of Gainesville, Elizabeth and Tom LeMasters of Fort Myers Fla., and Linda and Terry Wells of Jacksonville, Fla.; a son, Roger Tapscott of Katy, Texas; a sister, Jackie McGraw of Chattanooga, Tenn.; 16 grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012, at Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery by Phil Clark.
Little & Davenport Funeral Home, 355 Dawsonville Highway SW, Gainesville, is in charge of arrangements.
