CATLETTSBURG —
Patricia Ann Pennington, 64, of Catlettsburg, wife of James R. Pennington, passed away Monday, March 18, 2013, in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.
Pat was born Sept. 8, 1948, in Ashland, to the late Howard E. and Pauline Dunnigan Sparks.
Also preceding Pat in death were a son, Rex A. Pennington; a brother, James C. Sparks; and a sister, Betty L. Hart.
Pat was a retired CSN with Wal-Mart in Ashland.
Also surviving are two sons, James H. Pennington and his wife, Rose Perry Pennington, and Kip Pennington; three grandchildren, Andrew Tyler, Stephen Tyler and Haley Jordan; three brothers, Howard M. Sparks, Richard Sparks and Douglas E. Sparks; and two sisters, Thelma R. Meeks and Donna K. Braley.
A graveside service for Pat will be at 1 p.m. today, March 21, 2013, at Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens in Ashland by Pastor Roger Branham.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. today, March 21, 2013, at Lazear Funeral Home in Ashland.
