Bethalene Thompson (1935-2009)

Bethalene Thompson, 73, of Barboursville, W.Va, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, Sept. 18, 2009, at her residence.

She was born Dec. 22, 1935, in Putnam County, a daughter of the late Clyde and Bertha Martin Parkins. She is survived by loving husband of 55 years, Richard R. Thompson; a daughter, Deborah Sonya Hennecke and her husband Charles; a son, Donald “Ritchie” Thompson and wife Karen; two sisters, Dorma Meadows and Norene Clark; a brother, Oral Parkins; two grandchildren, Ashey Thompson and Corey Thompson; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2009, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel in Barboursville with David Gladwell officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Barboursville.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Barboursville Church of Christ; 1120 McClung Ave. Barboursville, WV 25504. Friends may visit from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21, 2009, at the funeral home.



Cas Cordle (1925-2009)

Cas L. Cordle, 84, of Ashland, died Saturday in the Hospice Care Center in Ashland.

Mr. Cordle was born Sept. 5, 1925, in Cordell, Ky. His wife Ernestine “Teen” Dials Cordle survives.

A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, at the Neal Funeral Home on Center Street in Catlettsburg. The Committal will be at Catlettsburg Cemetery.

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. There will be a Hampton Lodge Masonic Service at 7 p.m.



Reece Trimble (1934-2009)

Reece K. Trimble, 75, of Rush, died Saturday in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital.

Mr. Trimble was born Jan. 4, 1934, in Johnson County, Ky. He is survived by his wife, Linda Ferrell Trimble.

Kilgore & Collier Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements, which are pending.

Anna Strucko

1929-2009

Anna J. Mickels Hurt Strucko, 80, of Kenova, died Saturday in the Heritage Center in Huntington.

Mrs. Strucko was born April 12, 1929, in Boyd County, Ky. Her husband, Walter R. Strucko, preceded her in death.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Kilgore & Collier Funeral Home in Catlettsburg is in charge of arrangements.
