CLEARFIELD —
Edward Dale Pennington, six-year-old son of James Dane Pennington and Lottie Mae Lyons, of Fall Lane, Clearfield, passed away Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012, from injuries sustained in a fire at his home.
He was born Oct. 10, 2006, in Rowan, and was a kindergarten student at Rodburn Elementary School in Morehead.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother, James D. Pennington of Morehead; two half brothers, Trey Lyons of West Liberty, and Raymond Bishop of Sandy Hook; three sisters, Jessica Sue Pennington, Ashley Dawn Pennington and Amy Lynn Pennington, all at home; one half sister, Angel Lyons of West Liberty; and maternal grandmother, Gracie Rowe of Sandy Hook.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Charles Fyffe, and paternal grandmother, Stella Pennington.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead with Brother Virgil Franklin Gilliam officiating. Burial will follow in the Baldridge Cemetery in Clearfield.
Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the service hour Sunday at the funeral home.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
