FLATWOODS —
Emily Grace Clark, 12, of Flatwoods, lost her brave battle against cancer while surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013.
Emily was born Dec. 20, 2000, in Ashland, a daughter of Johnda Whitt Clark of Flatwoods and Charles E. Clark II of South Shore. She was a student at Russell McDowell Intermediate School and a junior member of the GMMCC.
She is also survived by a brother, Parker Clark; her paternal grandparents, Charles (Sandra) Clark of South Shore; her maternal grandparents, Brenda Meade of Ashland and Douglas Whitt of Ashland; her maternal great-grandparents, Elias “Talmadge” Whitt of Rush and Bill Queen of Westwood; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at Caniff Funeral Home in Westwood by Pastor Danny Goins and Brother Kenny Floyd. Burial will be in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today and an hour before services Saturday at the funeral home.
