RUSSELL —
Clarice Faye Boggs McKenzie, 75, of Russell, died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012, at her residence.
Fay was born August 3, 1937, a daughter of the late Merdie and Memphis Pickle Boggs.
Faye was of the United Baptist faith and enjoyed spending her time visiting with family and friends. She had a special relationship with her nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her husband James Delano McKenzie in 2010. She is also survived by four brothers, Clarence Boggs of Ashland, Earl Boggs of Greenup, Albert Boggs and wife Chriss of Kitts Hill and Frank Boggs and wife Vickie of Ashland; two sisters, Lois Wilson of Catlettsburg, and JoAnna Snyder and husband Jim of Ashland.
Fay will surely be missed by those who knew her and who had an opportunity to share stories with her. She was a precious lady.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, at the Preston Family Funeral Home by Elders A.J. Williamson and J.D. Riggs. Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Burial Park.
Friends may call one hour prior to services at the funeral home Monday.
