Dorothy P. “Frog” Crawford, 80, of South Point, Ohio, went on to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013, in St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, W.Va.
She was born Feb. 11, 1933, in Oldtown, a daughter of the late James Kelly and Leona McCallister.
She was retired from the Holiday Inn in South Point where she was the restaurant manager and was a member of Sheridan Freewill Baptist Church.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, John W. Crawford, in 1992.
She is survived by two sons, John Everett Crawford and wife Robin and Jim Lee Crawford and wife Cheryl, all of South Point; a daughter, Jondia Renee Steele and husband Steve of Amelia, Ohio; a sister, Eunice Martin of Greenup; three grandchildren, John Andrew Crawford of Ashland, Richard Kelly Thompson of Batavia, Ohio, and Larin Crawford-Barham of Ashland; and three great-grandchildren, Ryker Thompson, Raegan Barham and Skylar Blake.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup by Dr. Thomas Melvin. Burial will be in Brick Union Cemetery in Lloyd.
Visitation will be after 6 p.m. today, March 1, 2013, and an hour before services Saturday at the funeral home.
