CARTER —
Jack Talmadge Littleton, 85, of Olive Hill, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2012, in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.
He was born Aug. 5, 1926, the son of the late James and Edith (Cox) Littleton. He was a tool and die maker and worked for Timkin Roller Bearing in Columbus, Ohio.
Jack was a U.S. Army veteran who served in the Korean Conflict. He attended Gregoryville Christian Holiness Church and was a ham radio operator.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline (James) Littleton; a grandson, Colton James; and a brother, James Littleton Jr.
Surviving are his daughter, Jill (Don) Littleton of Olive Hill; a brother, J.C. Littleton of Olive Hill; three sisters, Geneva (Lewis) Davis, Betty (Glendal) Plummer and Anna Kay (Mike) Applegate, all of Olive Hill; two granddaughters, Brittany (Allen) and Abbie; a great-granddaughter, Kenzie; and a special great-niece Carli.
Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Friday, July 13 at Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson by Lewis Davis. Burial with military rites will be in Littleton Family Cemetery at Gregoryville.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today, July 12 at the funeral home.
