LOUISA —
Ilene Moore, 86, of Louisa, passed away Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, in Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa after a brief illness.
She was born Oct. 12, 1926, in Norris, the daughter the late Fred Estep and Hattie Dixon Estep.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Levi Moore; a sister, Pearl Webb; and a brother, Clarence Estep.
She attended school in Norris and was a member of Lockbourne Freewill Baptist Church in Lockbourne, Ohio. She worked at J.J. Jordan Nursing Facility when it was first established and was a devoted mother and housewife.
She is survived by a son, Larry D. Moore I and daughter-in-law Loretta; two grandchildren, Leah Curnutte (Steve) and Larry D. Moore II (Stacey); four great-grandchildren, Landon, Leandra, Larry III and Lauren; five sisters-in-law; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, at Young Funeral Home in Louisa by the Rev. Willie Gene Hayes. Burial will be in Greenlawn East Cemetery.
Visitation will be after noon Wednesday at the funeral home.
