ASHLAND — Billie N. Rose of Ashland passed away Jan. 29, 2013, in King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.

She was born Dec. 29, 1926, in West Liberty, to the late William Buford and Mary Lacy May.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Herbert L. Rose.

She attended Morehead State University and was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Iron City Antique Auto Club and Friends of Hospice and a former member of the Paramount Women’s Association. She was a homemaker and a loving wife and mother.

She is survived by her son, Howard Rose of Ashland, and a granddaughter, Shelbianna Rose.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland by the Rev. John Street. Burial will be in Salyer Cemetery in West Liberty.

Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
