CATLETTSBURG —
Woodrow Mills Sr., 65, of Catlettsburg, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013, at his home.
Mr. Mills was born Nov. 27, 1947, in Catlettsburg, a son of the late John and Ollie Jane Boyd Mills. He retired as foreman in 1993 from Meade Construction. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and watching old Westerns. He was a member of Elks Post 942 and of the Church of God faith.
He is survived by his wife, Mamie Stewart Mills; a son, Woodrow Mills Jr. and his wife, Holly, of Huntington, and their children, Ryan and Caleb; two daughters, Lisa Marie Adkins, her husband, Brett, of Canton, Ga., and her son, Collin Bayes (Emily Matney), and Lois Ann Henry of Catlettsburg and her daughter, Brittni Callahan (Jason); brothers Frank Mills of Catlettsburg and James Mills (Jewell) of Ceredo; sister Belva Corley (Ben) of Shepherdsville; and sister-in-law Della Mills.
Also preceding him in death were brothers Elvie Mills, Robert Mills, Harold Mills, Ronnie Mills, Ted Mills and William Mills and sisters Barbara Hopkins and Betty Dunn.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Kilgore & Collier Funeral Home in Catlettsburg by Pastor Ben Corley. Burial will be in Catlettsburg Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Friends at Elks Post 942 will serve as casket bearers.
