Margaret Jordan (1918-2009)

Margaret Lee Woods Jordan, 90, of Norfolk, Va., formerly of Catlettsburg, died Thursday in Bon Secours-DePaul Medical Center in Norfolk.

She was born Oct. 16, 1918, in Fayetteville, W.Va.

Her husband, Franklin Leon Jordan, preceded her in death.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Kilgore & Collier Funeral Home in Catlettsburg. Committal will be in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens in Ashland.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Kansas Salmon, 95, of Greenup, died Friday in Wurtland.

George Diamond (1934-2009)

George William Diamond, 74, of Webbville, died Thursday in Hillcrest Nursing Home in Peebles, Ohio.

He was born Nov. 18, 1934, in Twin Branch.

His wife, Edna Marie Diamond, died in 1999.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at Young Funeral Home in Louisa. Burial will be in Diamond Cemetery in Webbville.

Friends may call at 9 a.m. today at the funeral home.



Wilma McGarvin (1928-2009)

Wilma M. McGarvin, 81, of Ezel, died Thursday in St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead.

She was born Feb. 20, 1928, in Morgan County.

A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. today at Ezel Cemetery.

There is no visitation.

Roscoe Stephens

Roscoe Stephens, 84, of Salyersville, died Thursday.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Sunday at Magoffin County Funeral Home in Salyersville.



Lovella Baldwin

Lovella Blair Baldwin, 72, of Swamp Branch, died Friday at her residence.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Jones-Preston Funeral Home in Paintsville. Burial will be in Lakeview Memorial Cemetery.

Willis Moore (1934-2009)

Willis Bill Moore, 75, of Louisa, died Thursday in King’s Daughters Medical Center.

He was born Jan. 6, 1934, in Adams.

His wife, Nola Justice Moore, died in 2005.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Sunday at Young Funeral Home in Louisa. Burial will be in Moore Cemetery in Dry Ridge.

Rush Saulsbury (1930-2009)

Rush C. Saulsbury, 79, of Louisa, died Thursday in King’s Daughters Medical Center.

He was born April 12, 1930, in Louisa.

His wife, Maxine Nolen Saulsbury, survives.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Young Funeral Home in Louisa. Burial will be in Wellman Cemetery in Busseyville.

Johnny Louis Cox, 69, of Morehead, died Thursday at his residence.

He was born April 18, 1940, in Lewis County.

His wife, Geraldine Estep Cox, survives.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Mount Pisgah Christian Church. Burial will be in Mount Pisgah Cemetery.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. Sunday and after 11 a.m. Monday at the church.
