Marjoye Ann Willoughby (1959-2009)
Marjoye Ann Willoughby, 50, of Olive Hill, went to be with her lord and savior Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2009, after a very short battle with cancer. She was born June 6, 1959, to Morris Williams of Grayson and Joyce Matney Piper of Olive Hill.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mary Alice Clay Williams and Aurther Morris Williams.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Willoughby of Olive Hill; two sons, Arlie and wife Tara Walker of Olive Hill and Chase Willoughby of Olive Hill; three daughters, Susan and husband Ardie Armour of El Paso, Texas, Shawna and husband Kemo Hall of Ashland and Cassie and husband Chad Goble of Mentone, Ind.; fourteen grandchildren, Brittany, Zachery, Austin, Nicholas, Rebecca and Gracie Walker of Olive Hill, Mercedes, Kailyn and A.J. Armour of El Paso, Texas, Jacob, Desarae and Timothy Goble of Mentone, Ind. and Layla Hall of Ashland; two brothers, Mark Williams of Mt. Sterling and Morris Williams Jr. of Texas; three sisters, Robin Williams of Miss., Rhonda Williams of Texas and Jasseda Hall of Texas; along with several nieces and nephews.
Private services were conducted Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009, under the direction of Lewis and Ferguson Funeral Home in Sandy Hook, Ky. She was laid to rest in the Williams Family Cemetery in Olive Hill.
A special thank you to KDMC Oncology Unit and two very special nurses, Kim and Missy, and Dr. Barker and the staff of the Community Hospice Center of Ashland and the Lewis and Ferguson Funeral Home for the wonderful care given to our mother.
Mary Etta Webb Robertson (1922-2009)
Mary Etta Webb Robertson, 87, of Catlettsburg, formerly of Fort Gay, W.Va., passed away Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009, at her residence. She was born August 22, 1922, in Fort Gay to the late Pearl P.J. and Lillie B. Sexton Webb.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Oak Grove Church in Fort Gay and a member of Wayne Chapter 156, Order of Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Robertson, and four brothers and four sisters.
Surviving are five daughters, Ruth Ann Bing and husband Doug of Sterling, Ohio, Willa Mae Crabtree and husband Virgil of Fort Gay, Maxine Pinkerton and husband Roy of Apex, N.C., Linda Grizzle and husband Dana of Catlettsburg and Patty Jo Roberts and husband Kevin of Wayne, W.Va.; four sons, Willie Ray Robertson and wife Nancy of Fort Gay, Charles Alan Robertson and wife Christine of Louisa, Ky., Robert Robertson and wife Geneva of Huntington, W.Va. and Terry Lynn Robertson and wife Rhonda of Livingston, Tenn.; a brother, Harlan Wesley Webb and wife Sylvia Lee of Mansfield, Ohio; and 18 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 14, 2009, at Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Wayne, W.Va., by Pastor Mack Ray Cyrus and Pastor Michael Dillon.
Burial will be in the Robertson Cemetery on Paddle Creek Road in Fort Gay.

Willadean Cole, 66, of Paintsville, died Saturday in Paul B. Hall Medical Center. Her husband, Robert Cole, survives.
Services are pending at Preston Funeral Home in Paintsville.

Thomas Armstrong Smith, 76, of West Liberty, died Saturday in King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel in West Liberty. Interment will be in Smith Family Cemetery on Highway 589 in West Liberty.

Edward Wooten, 82, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., formerly of Johnson County, died Thursday.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Chapel of Jones-Preston Funeral Home in Paintsville. Burial will be in Dixon Cemetery in Staffordsville.
Friends may call after 1 p.m. until the time of service Monday at the funeral home.

Earnestine “Teeny” Warnock Taylor, 85, of South Shore, died Friday in Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio.
She was born May 15, 1924, in Greenup County. Her husband, William Robert Taylor, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore. Burial will be in Siloam Cemetery in South Shore.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Frank Firestine, formerly of Russell, died Saturday in Lexington. His wife, Mattie Firestine, preceded him in death.
