GRAYSON —
Nora Eldridge, 75, of Grayson, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012 in King’s Daughters Medical Center.
She was born June 28, 1937, in Carter County. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Myrtle (Stevens) Blevins.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Edgar Eldridge and five brothers, Melvin Blevins, Bill Blevins, Arnold Blevins, Beecher Blevins and Jim Blevins.
She was a homemaker and loving mother.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Alonzo “June” Eldridge Jr.; her six sons, Brian Eldridge, Bill Eldridge, Gary Eldridge, Harold Eldridge, and Tommy Eldridge, all of Grayson, and Larry Eldridge of Upper Sandusky, Ohio and two daughters, Nora Sue Grizzell of Hitchins and Mary Lou Curry of Greenup. She is also survived by one sister, Janet Sue Barker of Grayson and four brothers, Bob Blevins, Jessie Blevins, and Ken Blevins, all of Grayson and Darrell Blevins of Ohio. She also is survived by 21 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012 at Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Jackie Grizzell and Tony Seagraves officiating. Burial will follow in Eldridge Family Cemetery at Evermans Creek in Grayson.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today, Oct. 6, 2012 at the funeral home.
