ARGILLITE —
Robert Eugene “Jack” Howard, 77, of Argillite went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012, in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.
He was born at home in Lynn on Oct. 20, 1935, to the late June Howard-Boyle. Mr. Howard attended Argillite Church of the Nazarene and retired from the Pepsi Cola Co. in 1995. He was a devoted family man and loved to play and sing bluegrass and gospel music.
Those left to cherish his memory include his caring and loving wife of 57 years, Mary Ann Phelps-Howard of Argillite; two sons, Tony Howard and his wife, Cindy, of Bluffton, S.C., and Tim Howard of Argillite; a daughter, Kathy Bradley and her husband Jim of Ashland; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Bethany, Caleb and Gabriel; a great-grandchild, Brody; two brothers, Roger and Randall; and two sisters, Dottie and Janice, all of whom will miss him dearly.
A celebration of his life will be for family and friends at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at Argillite Church of the Nazarene, Ky. 1, Argillite, KY 41121, with visiting from 1 p.m. until service time. Burial will be in Phelps Cemetery in Argillite at a later date.
