Sharon Kay Allen, 54, of Argillite, passed away Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell.
She was born Dec. 25, 1957, in Russell, a daughter of the late Billy Carter and Myrtle Conley Baldridge.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, David Carter and Vernon “Tony” Chandley.
She was formerly employed at Wal-Mart in Cannonsburg.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years, David K. Allen; two daughters and their husbands, Angela (Jeremy) Johnson of Flatwoods and Holly (Bobby) Meade of Argillite; three brothers, Billy Carter Jr. of Greenup County, Darrell Carter of Argillite and Timothy Chandley of Mississippi; two sisters, Yvonne Allen of Oldtown and Brenda Banks of Load; and two grandchildren, Quinton Johnosn and Morgan Meade.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup by Chaplain Jimm Smedley. Burial will be in Allen Cemetery at Oldtown.
Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
