CATLETTSBURG —
Carl "David" Meek, 55, of Catlettsburg, passed away Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.
He was born Nov. 22, 1957, in Roswell, N.M., a son of Joan Smith Bartram and the late Carl Franklin Meek.
He was a retired iron worker.
Survivors include his loving wife, Annette Bowen Meek of Catlettsburg; mother and stepfather, Joan and Don Bartram of Huntington, W.Va.; two daughters, Angela Meek of Greenup and Jesica Meek of Proctorville, Ohio; stepson Jordan Cauton of Huntington; and stepdaughter Kelsey Cauton of Kenova, W.Va.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, at Young Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Ric Frazier officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Louisa.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
