Jo Harris Brenner, 83, formerly of Wurtland and Ashland, died Monday, July 9 in Forsyth, Ga.
Jo Harris Brenner was born in Wurtland and attended school there. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Ashland. She graduated from the University of Kentucky, class of 1949, and was employed by Ashland Oil.
She was much traveled in Latin America and Europe, having lived in Brazil for a year and Italy for six months. Jo Harris Brenner obtained a master’s degree from Penn State University in 1982. She was living in Monroe County, Ga., for the past six years.
Jo Harris Brenner is survived by her husband, Walter; a sister, Irene Harris McCracken; and two nieces, Jo Harris McCracken and Karen McCracken-Dellany.
There will be no services or ceremonies.
