ASHLAND —
Dolores Kurowsky, 92, of Ashland, died Monday, July 16, 2012, in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.
She was born Dec. 15, 1919, in New York City, N.Y., a daughter of the late Thomas Valenti and Bessie Cagnina Valenti.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Walter G. Kurowsky, in 1983.
She was a retired office clerk with Ashland Oil. She was a member of Holy Family Church and the Ashland Oil Retirees Club.
Surviving are two sons and a daughter-in-law, Thomas and Janet Kurowsky of Orlando, Fla., and Walter Kurowsky of Ashland; a daughter and son-in-law, Marian and Daniel Pelley of Warwick, R.I.: five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Joseph Valenti of Michigan.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 21, 2012, at Lazear Funeral Home in Ashland by the Rev. John P. Noe. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Ashland.
Friends may call an hour before services Saturday at the funeral home.
