CATLETTSBURG — Loretta V. Castle McCoy, 74, a lifelong resident of Catlettsburg, passed away Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012, in King’s Daughters Medical Center with her family by her side.

Mrs. McCoy was born April 23, 1938, in Catlettsburg, a daughter of the late Woodrow Castle and the late Edna Clevenger Castle Shannon.

Loretta was of the Catholic faith and a homemaker. She enjoyed puzzles, growing beautiful flowers and gardening.

Loretta leaves behind by her adoring husband of 45 years, Jay. He was the love of her life. They shared their home with Precious, their basset hound, Susie and three cats, Prissy, Soxy and Fuzzy.

At the family’s request and to respect Mrs. McCoy’s wishes, all services will remain private.

It is the privilege of Neal Funeral Home in Catlettsburg to serve this family.
