Shawn Ryan Hamilton, 22, of Raceland, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, in Cabell Huntington Hospital, surrounded by his family and loved ones.
He was born Jan. 24, 1990, in Ashland, a son of William “Jack” Waugh Jr. of Ashland and Mary Ester Hamilton of Crawfordsville, Ind. He was also preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jack Waugh Sr.
Surviving are his maternal grandparents, Herman Hamilton of Raceland and Gail Hamilton of Flatwoods; his paternal grandmother, Connie Massie of Wurtland; a brother, Justin M. Justice of Ashland; a sister, Tierrah Hamilton of Crawfordsville; two stepbrothers, Garrett and Trace Cole, both of Ashland; and two half-sisters, Ashley Jones of Portsmouth, Ohio, and Brooke Jones of Chillicothe, Ohio.
The funeral will be at noon Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at Evans Funeral Home in Raceland by the Rev. Roy Bennett. Burial will be at a later date.
Friends may call after 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
