Ashland

Monday: Coffee and paper. 10:30 a.m. — Exercise/Becky. 11:30 a.m. — Lunch. Noon — Board games; Walk-N-Talk.

Tuesday: 9 a.m. — Art class.

Wednesday: 9 a.m. — Coffee and paper. 10:30 a.m.  Joyful Noise. — 11:30 a.m. — Lunch. Noon — Bean bag toss and Kevin/dance.

Thursday: Board meeting.

Friday: Potluck. 9 a.m. — Coffee and paper. 10:30 a.m. — Bingo. 11:30 a.m. — Lunch. Noon — Games.

May 21: 9 a.m. — Coffee and paper. 10:30 a.m. — Bingo. 11:30 a.m. — Lunch. Noon — Board games; Walk-N-Talk.

Boyd County

Events this week at the Boyd County Senior Center at 3015 Louisa St., Catlettsburg. The center is open from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Telephone: (606) 739-6349. Those who need a bus ride should call by 8 a.m.

Tuesday: 8 a.m. — Coffee and doughnuts. 9 a.m. — Living Well Workshop.

Carter County

Events this week at the Carter County Senior Center at 200 N. Hord St., Grayson. The center is open from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (606) 474-4179.

Today: Bingo.

Tuesday: Never Too Old to Play game day.

Wednesday: Current events with the Grayson Journal.

Thursday: Ross; bring desserts.

Friday: Current events with the Eastern Kentucky Voice.

Elliott County

Events this week at the Elliott County Senior Citizens Center, Rocky Adkins Community Center, Main Street, Sandy Hook. (606) 738-6945. Open 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.          

Today: Exercise and physical activity with handouts; Scrabble.

Tuesday: “Don’t Let a Fall Get You Down,” with handouts; current events.

Wednesday: 10 a.m. — Older American Month program by Christie Vincent of the health department.

Thursday: Know-how Tools and Tips for everyone who loves to eat; Scrabble.

Friday: Ice cream social; Walking by Helen Clinger.

May 21: Exercise and physical activity with handouts; Scrabble.

Greenup County

Events this week at the Greenup County Senior Center at the new address, 1617 Ashland Road behind Stultz Pharmacy in the Applegate Plaza. The center is open from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Walking daily, weather permitting. Telephone: (606) 473-6244.

Today: Games (Wii, pool etc.); line dance class from 6 to 9 p.m.

Tuesday: 11 a.m. — Bingo.

Wednesday: 10 a.m. — Exercise. 

Thursday: 11 a.m. — Hospice Information.

Friday: Games (Wii, pool, etc.); Senior prom.

May 21: Games (Wii, pool, etc.); line dance from 6 to 9 p.m.

Raceland

Events this week at the Raceland Community Center.

Tuesday: 10:30 a.m. — Ladies’ games and lunch.

Thursday: 10:30 a.m. — Games. 6 to 9 p.m. — Line dancing.

Russell

Activities Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Russell Senior Center at the Russell Depot on Ferry Street are TV, computers, library, board games, card games and museum.
