CHAPMAN — Senior centers

Ashland

Wednesday:10 a.m. —  Joyful Noise. 10:30 a.m. — Exercise with Becky.  Noon —  Kevin/line dance.

Thursday: Library Day.

Friday: June Birthday’s will be celebrated. 10:30 a.m. — Bingo. 11:30 a.m. — Lunch. Noon — Games.

June 25: 10:30 a.m. — Exercise/Becky. 11:30 a.m. — Lunch. Noon — Walk-N-Talk. 12:30 p.m. — Corn hole games.

Boyd County

Events this week at the Boyd County Senior Center at 3015 Louisa St., Catlettsburg. The center is open from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Telephone: (606) 739-6349. Those who need a bus ride should call by 8 a.m.

Events this week at the Carter County Senior Center at 200 N. Hord St., Grayson. The center is open from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (606) 474-4179.

Wednesday: Current events with the Grayson Journal.

Elliott County

Events this week at the Elliott County Senior Citizens Center, Rocky Adkins Community Center, Main Street, Sandy Hook. (606) 738-6945. Open 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.          

Today: Movie day. — Chair exercise.

Tuesday: What does healthy eating mean? — Games.

Wednesday: How to improve your flexibility. — Corn hole games.

Thursday: Drinking enough fluids.

Friday: A lesson in shooting pool by David Maxie. — Scrabble.

June 25: Chest exercise. — Setting your goals.

Greenup County

Events this week at the Greenup County Senior Center at the new address, 1617 Ashland Road behind Stultz Pharmacy in the Applegate Plaza. The center is open from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Walking daily, weather permitting. Telephone: (606) 473-6244.

Today: Games (Wii, pool etc.); line dance class from 6 to 9 p.m.

Tuesday: 11 a.m. — Bingo.

Wednesday: 11 a.m. — Exercise.

Raceland

Events this week at the Raceland Community Center.

Tuesday: 10:30 a.m. — Ladies’ games and lunch.

Thursday: 10:30 a.m. — Games. 6 to 9 p.m. — Line dancing.

Russell

Activities Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Russell Senior Center at the Russell Depot on Ferry Street are TV, computers, library, board games, card games and museum.
