WINCHESTER, — Former Kentucky basketball player Derrick Miller has been charged with two additional counts of theft by deception involving basketball tickets.
The 42-year-old ex-Wildcat is being held in the Clark County jail on a charge of failing to appear in court on the two theft charges. A Clark County deputy jailer told the Lexington Herald-Leader that the theft charges are related to "lower-level basketball tickets."
Lexington police last week charged Miller with one count of felony theft by deception. Lexington police say Miller accepted payment in advance for tickets when they weren't available to him to sell.
A week before that, former Kentucky star Ed Davender was arrested in a similar matter.
