Michelle Lee Renfroe and Robert David Bowling of Ashland were married on May 16, 2009, at 2 p.m. at the Salt and Light Worship Center in Ashland. The ceremony was officiated by pastor Greg Matney.
The parents of the couple are Randy and Tonya Renfroe of Westwood and David and Sheila Bowling of Boyd County.
Celesta Reed of Ashland sang “At Last,” “God Bless the Broken Road” and “Unchained Melody.”
Maid of honor was Misty Maggard and bridesmaids were Christa Salyer, Ashley Renfroe, sister of the bride, and Missy Taylor.
Best man was Adam Bowling, brother of the groom, and groomsmen were Brandon Salyer, Tyler Borders, Josh Runyan and Joe Harmon.
Flowergirl was Allura Schaum, cousin of the bride, and ringbearer was Julian Scott, nephew of the bride. Registry attendant was Alycia Schaum.
She is a 1998 graduate of Fairview High School and Ashland Community and Technical College and is self-employed at Michelle Lee Styling Salon in Westwood.
He is a 2000 graduate at Boyd County High School and Morehead State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and is employed with National City Corp.
After a honeymoon in Jamaica, the couple reside in Ashland.
