Katharine Therese Henderson and Chad Jacob Cox were married March 31, 2008, in Seoul, Korea. A wedding ceremony and celebration are planned on Aug. 15, 2009, in Las Vegas at St. Joseph Husband of Mary, with dinner and reception to follow at Bear’s Best.
The bride is the daughter of Joseph Henderson of Placentia, Calif., and Laurel Suslo of Las Vegas, Nev. She is a 2004 graduate of Bonanza High School and attended the University of Nevada in Las Vegas. She has been employed as administrative assistant with the 51st Maintenance Squadron of Osan Air Force Base, Korea.
The groom is the son of Chuck Cox of Wake Forest, N.C., and Becky Garvin of Ashland. He is a 2003 graduate of Boyd County High School and a 2007 graduate of Embry Riddle Aeronautical University with a bachelor of science in technical management. He is completing a tour of duty with the U.S Air Force in Korea, following which the couple will reside in North Carolina.
