Angela Dawn Hacker and Joseph Martin Keene were united in marriage in an evening ceremony on Oct. 12, 2007, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Louisville by the Rev. Nick Rice.
Angela is the daughter of Edward and Patricia Tolle Hacker of Ashland.
Joseph is the son of Milton and Sally Keene of Springfield, Ky.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. In loving memory of her grandmothers, the bride wore her maternal grandmother’s wedding ring from 1920 and her paternal grandmother’s bracelet that was worn on her wedding day in 1912.
Matron of honor was Maria Burton of Independence, Mo., sister of the bride. Maid of honor was Karen Hacker of Lexington, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Kate Hacker of Canton, Ga., sister-in-law of the bride; Christy Bland of Lexington and Laura Minor of Dallas, Texas.
Courtney Collins of Independence, great-niece of the bride, served as flower girl.
Dominic Drury of Fort Thomas, nephew of the groom, served as ringbearer.
Best man was Rick Melton of Bardstown.
Groomsmen were Tom Keene of Lexington, John Keene and Jimmy Keene, both of Louisville, brothers of the groom; and Steve Syms of Bardstown.
Ushers were Edward Hacker of Canton, Ga., and Erik Hacker of Charlotte, N.C., brothers of the bride, Thomas Keene of West Chester, Ohio, and John Shumway of Louisville, nephews of the groom.
A dinner reception followed the ceremony at the Clifton Center in Louisville.
The previous evening, a rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s parents at the Woodhaven Country Club.
The bride is a graduate of Paul G. Blazer High School and Eastern Kentucky University with a bachelor’s degree in public relations. She is a client relationship manager for TALX Corp. in Louisville.
The groom is a graduate of Bethlehem High School in Bardstown and attended Eastern Kentucky University. He is a quality assurance inspector with EA Sports in Louisville.
The couple honeymooned in St. Lucia, the West Indies and reside in Lousville.
