Sara Beth Morton and Aaron James Spencer were married on Sept. 6, 2008, in a double-ring ceremony, at Centenary United Methodist Church in Lexington by the Rev. Mark Hoggerhyde.
Parents of the couple are Dr. and Mrs. John and Cindy Morton of Ashland and Mr. and Mrs. Terry and Sarah Spencer of Hanson.
The bride is a public relations manager for IMG World. She is a 1999 graduate of Russell High School and a 2003 graduate of Transylvania University.
The groom is a branch manager for First Federal Bank. He is a 1997 graduate of North Hopkins High School and a 2002 graduate of Western Kentucky University.
She was given in marriage by her father.
Matron of honor was Candice Wallace Barns and maid of honor was Allison Poe. Bridesmaids were Miss Sarah Casey and Mrs. Sarah Thompson Lanham.
Flower girls were Annie Morton and Tessa Sparks.
Best man was Jeffery Spencer. Groomsmen were Chris Long, Clayton Norris and Sam Shepard.
Ring bearer was Matthew Morton.
Ushers were Dwight Campbell, Adam Morton and Anthony Parrett.
The reception followed the ceremony at the Signature Club at Lansdowne in Lexington.
Following a honeymoon to the Riveria Maya, Mexico, the couple are residing in Lexington.
