Cornwell-Moore


Christina Marie Cornwell and Joshua J. Moore were married in a double-ring ceremony on Nov. 8, 2008, in Flatwoods by Phillip Hogg.

Parents of the couple are John and Tarryl Cornwell of Flatwoods and Ottis and Annette Moore of Ashland.

The bride is an Install sales coordinator at Lowe’s Home Improvement. She is a 2002 graduate of Russell High School.

The groom is a 1998 graduate of Boyd County High School and is employed with Boilermakers 105.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father.

Maid of honor was Janee Workman. Bridesmaids were Tiffany Cornwell, cousin of the bride, and Amanda Medley, cousin of the groom.

Flower girl was Josey Nelson, cousin of the bride.

Jonathan Cornwell, brother of the bride, escorted the bride’s mother and grandmothers.

Best man was Chris McDowell, double cousin of the groom.

Groomsmen were Jason Boyd and Jeremy Pennington, cousin of the groom.

Ring bearer was J.C. Hamilton, cousin of the groom.

Ushers were Matt McKinney, Jarrett Bullion and Chas Vanhoose.

Special family guests were from New York and Florida.

The reception was held at Elite Catering in Ashland following the ceremony.

Following a trip to the Smokey Mountains, the couple are living in Ashland.
