Anderson-Spencer


Ginger Anderson, daughter of Roy and Vicky Anderson of Webster Springs, W.Va., and Micah Spencer, son of John and Carolyn Spencer of Huntington, formerly of Ashland, were united in marriage on April 12, 2008, in Catlettsburg.

The bride was escorted by her father and the wedding ceremony was officiated by the Honorable Judge Marc Rosen of Ashland.

Maid of honor was Brandi Johns. Bridesmaids included Christine Anderson, sister of the bride, Cara Spencer, sister of the groom, Myria Morris and Danielle Bachman.

Adrianna and Olivia Anderson, sisters of the bride, and Lilyana Spencer, cousin of the groom, served as flowergirls.

Best man was Evan Spencer, brother of the groom. Groomsmen included Coy Spencer, brother of the groom, Amer Bashadi, Sam Storrick and Jarel Moore.

Nuptial music was presented by Matt Dugan and Doug Martin, uncle of the bride.

The groom’s grandparents, Bob and Mary Eleanor Spencer of Lakeland, Fla., and his grandmother, Jean Clark of Hinton, W.Va., attended the ceremony.

A reception followed the ceremony and also at the groom’s home in Huntington.

The bride is a 2007 graduate of Marshall University with a BS degree in adult physiology. She works at Healthworks in Morgantown.

The groom is a senior at West Virginia University majoring in petroleum and natural gas engineering with a second major in communications. Upon graduating in May 2009, he will work for Chevron in Bakersfield, Calif.

The couple reside in Morgantown.
