Julie Marie Prokop of Berkley, Mich., and David O’Neil Lambert of Berkley were married Oct. 3, 2008, at 4:30 p.m. at St. Clement Church in Lakeside, Ohio, by Father John Ocilka.
Parents of the couple are Paulette Prokop of Cleveland and the late Dennis Prokop and Mr. and Mrs. John Lambert of Ashland.
The bride was given in marriage by her mother.
Matron of honor was Emily Prokop of Cleveland, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Kara Prokop of Cleveland, sister of the bride; Amy Feigley of Detroit, Mich.; Leah Catanese of Cleveland; Abbigail Israelson of Ann Arbor, Mich.; and Sarah Trahan of Berkley.
Flower girls were Brighid and Ashland Biehl, cousins of the groom.
Best man was Taylor Agee of Georgetown, Ky.
Groomsmen were Justin Conley of Raleigh, N.C.; Chris Lee of Detroit; Joe Prokop of Cleveland, brother of the bride; Landon Williams of Nashville, Tenn.; and Aaron Peterman of Providence, R.I.
Ring bearers were Bram and Marco Chilton, cousins of the bride.
Readers were Alfredo Meyers and John Lambert, father of the groom. General Intercessions were by David Roth, cousin of the bride.
A rehearsal dinner, hosted by the groom’s parents was at Heck’s Café in Ohio City, Cleveland.
A reception was at Windows on the River in downtown Cleveland.
A post-wedding brunch was hosted by the bride’s mother at the Hampton Inn in Brooklyn, Ohio.
She is a 2000 graduate of Holy Name High School; a 2005 graduate of the University of Toledo with a BFA; and a 2007 graduate of Cranbrook Academy of Fine Art, with an MFA, in Bloomfield Hills, Mich.
He is a 2000 graduate of Paul G. Blazer High School; a 2005 graduate of Georgetown College with a BS in biology; and a 2007 graduate of Cranbrook Academy of Fine Art, with an MFA.
They are both teachers of fine arts at a local university.
Following a wedding trip to Playa Del Carman, Mexico, the couple reside in Berkley.
