Taylor-Bell

Jessica Elizabeth Taylor and Keith Joseph Bell were married Saturday, June 6, 2009, in the garden pavilion of Charleston Place Hotel. A reception followed in the hotel’s Palmetto Cafe.

The bride is the daughter of Karen Taylor of Summerville, S.C., and the late Philip Taylor. She is the granddaughter of Aletha Osborne of Ashland and the late Elwood Osborne. Her paternal grandparents are Mary Ruth Taylor of Columbus and the late Rev. Wallace Taylor.

The groom is the son of Don and Libby Reed of McMechen, W.Va., and Donald and Rehnea Bell of Huntingburg, Ind.

Escorted down the aisle by Brandon Ratliffe, she was given in marriage by her Uncle John Osborne.

Matron of honor was Emily Thompkins of Sioux Falls, S.D.

Bridesmaids were Mandy Flynn of Sumter, S.C., Anna Cheung of Atlanta, Ga., and Sally Pranger of West Ashley, S.C.

Flower girl was Brooklyn Bell.

Best man was Kevin Bell, brother of the groom, groomsmen were Mike Heise of St. Clairsville, Ohio, Paul Klenowski of Wheeling, W.Va. and Chad Faulstick of McMechen.

Ringbearer was Elliot Echols.

She is a graduate of Fort Dorchester High School in Summerville. She received both her undergraduate and master’s degrees from Marshall University in Huntington. She graduated from Southern Mississippi University with a doctorate of administration of justice. She is employed by the City of Charleston’s Police Department.

He is a graduate of Bishop Donahue High School and Wheeling Jesuit University.

He received a master’s degree from Marshall University and a doctor of philosophy degree from University of Pennsylvania. Beginning in the fall semester, he will be a professor of criminal justice at the Citadel.

Following a honeymoon to the Outer Banks, N.C., the couple will reside in West Ashley.
