ASHLAND —
Announcement is being made of the marriage of Ashland native Pamela K. Owens to Milton J. Orgeron, son of Hilda Orgeron of Luling, La., and the late Vicknair Orgeron. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry M. Owens of Russell.
Wedding vows were exchanged in an open church ceremony at Two Rivers Baptist Church, 2800 McGavock Pike, Nashville, with Dr. Jerry Highfill officiating.
Diane Mitchell Whitaker served the bride as maid of honor.
Best man was Phillip Billiot.
A reception followed the ceremony.
The bride is a graduate of Fairview High School, Ashland Community College, Marshall University, Morehead State University and Light University. From MSU, she received a master of arts (2003) and an education specialist (2009) degree in adult and higher education, counseling specialization. As a published author, she plans to work in full-time ministry, including counseling, teaching and writing.
The groom is a graduate of Hahnville High School and Tulane University and is employed by The American Red Cross, Nashville.
