CATLETTSBURG —
Emily Nichols, daughter of Bill and Kathy Johnson of Catlettsburg and Jeff and Katherine Nichols of San Diego, Calif., and Greg Monsma, son of Brian Monsma and Joy Monsma of Louisville, were married July 23, 2011, at Christ Church United Methodist Church in Louisville.
A reception followed at Yew Dell Gardens in Louisville.
Maid of honor was Laura Curth. Bridesmaids were Nicole Williams, Janay Brown, Libby Thoke, Amy Biggs, Emilee Young, Krista Whalen, Amber Fannin, Courtney Lundin and Charis Botelho.
Best man was Sam Anderson. Groomsmen were Rob Monsma, Ben Monsma, Tim Monsma, Mike Musick, Beau Bryson, Kyle Hollemans, Ryan Sexton, Aaron Weaver and Jeremy Rhodes. Ushers were Adam Goble, Seth Ayers, Eric Chaney, Jay Deskins, Zach Warriner, Dawson West and Chris Horan.
The Parade of Children included Bryce Biggs, Brock Biggs, Audrey Biggs and Sophie Chaney.
The bride will graduate from University Kentucky Dental School in May 2012.
The groom will graduate from the University of Kentucky with a master’s degree in music choral conducting in May 2012.
Following a honeymoon to Greece and Italy, the couple reside in Lexington.
