ASHLAND —
Whitney Elizabeth Ross and Bradley Evan Cooksey were married on Oct. 2, 2010, in an outdoor ceremony at the Bellefonte Pavillion. Judge C. David Hagerman performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Greg and Tish Ross of Ashland. She is a 2004 graduate of Paul G. Blazer High School and Morehead State University. The groom is the son of Keith and Sandy Cooksey, also of Ashland. He is a 2003 graduate of Boyd County High School and Ashland Community and Technical College.
Maid of honor was the sister of the bride, Abby Ross, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Bridesmaids were Hannah Cooksey of Richmond, Ky.; Brittany Kirk of Cincinnati; Lacey Conn Midden of Lexington and Lindsay Cleary and Jessica Branham, both of Ashland. Flower girl was Lailah Ashburn, cousin of the bride, of Frankfort.
Best man was brother of the groom, Cain Cooksey of Ashland. Groomsmen were Michael Webster of Lexington and Luke Lyons, Aaron Lewis, Aaron Harmon and Justin Griffith, all of Ashland. Ring bearer was Wade Griffith, cousin of the groom, of Ashland.
A reception followed the ceremony at the pavillion. The couple honeymooned in Cancun, Mexico.
