Maynard-Wyatt


Sally Elizabeth Maynard and Derrick Alan Wyatt exchanged wedding vows on July 25, 2009, at Unity Baptist Church in Ashland. Dr. Timothy Maynard, uncle of the bride, of Fruit Cove Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Fla., and Dr. Floyd Paris of Unity Baptist Church performed the double-ring ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Mark and Beth Maynard of Ashland and Roy and Annette Wyatt of Catlettsburg.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of Rose Hill Christian School and a 2009 graduate of Morehead State University. She is employed as a chemistry teacher at Bellevue High School.

The groom is a 2005 graduate of Boyd County High School and a 2009 graduate of Transylvania University. He is a student at Chase Law School at Northern Kentucky University.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Maid of honor was Megan Hamilton. Bridesmaids were Meghann Randolph, Rachel Messer, Rebecca Jackson, cousin of the bride; Suzette Maynard, sister-in-law of the bride; and Laura Callaway, cousin of the bride.

Eliza Crawford, cousin of the bride, served as flowergirl.

Best man was Braden Wyatt, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Brandon Rosen, Addison Young, Chris Jackson, Michael Derringer and Sam Gerring.

Ushers were Stephen Maynard, brother of the bride; and Thomas Tolliver.

Jeremy Crawford, cousin of the bride, served as ringbearer.

A reception followed the ceremony at the church.

Following a honeymoon to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple are residing in Highland Heights.
