Griffith-Stewart

LEXINGTON — Johnna Rey Griffith and Charles Daniel Stewart of Lexington were married  Oct. 19, 2012, during an evening ceremony at the Signature Club of Lexington.

The bride is the daughter of Linda and John Griffith of Crittenden; granddaughter of Sara and the late Ray Keller and Mollie and the late Berlin Griffith of Winchester.

The groom is the son of Charles and Debbie Stewart of Ashland, grandson of Roger and the late Doris Stewart of Flatwoods and Douglas and the late Rosemary Stevens of Westwood.

The bride was given in marriage by her father at the 6 p.m. ceremony officiated by the Rev. Robert White. Bridesmaids were, Emily Groves, Yajaira Aich and Jill Johnson of Lexington. Her nieces, Emma and Sophia Combs of Mount Sterling, served as flower girls. Guest book attendant was Sara Walters.

The groomsmen were Tighe Estes and Rob Clifton of Lexington and Jeremy Mattox of Georgetown. A reception followed at the Signature Club.

The bride is a graduate of the University of Dallas, where she received a bachelor’s degree in economics and finance. She received her master’s degree in business administration from the University of Kentucky. She is employed as a pricing analyst in the Valvoline Division of Ashland, Inc.

The groom is a graduate of Georgetown College where he received his bachelor’s degree in accounting. He received his master of business administrative from Morehead State University. He is employed as an accountant working in the Valvoline Division of Ashland Inc.

The couple reside in Lexington after their honeymoon in Jamaica.
