ASHLAND —
Rhonda Jean Aschenauer and Brandon Joseph Collier were married on July 2, 2011, at the private residence of Ted and Connie McGinnis of Inez. The outdoor ceremony was officiated by the bride’s grandfather, Williard Nolen of the Church of God.
The parents of the couple are Ronald Jr. and Yvonne Aschenauer of Ashland and Joe and Nita Collier of Inez and Ron and Vicky Scott of Versailles.
The matron of honor was Amy Aschenauer and maid of honor was Andrea Dyer. Bridesmaids were Lena Reese, Teresa Hille, Amy Eason and Cape Scott. Junior bridesmaid was Brittany Slone.
Honorary flower girl was Audrey Bell Eason. Guest book attendants were Ashley Nolen and Sarah Newman and a special reading was given by Madi Aschenaur.
The best man was Seth Sammons and groomsmen were Eric Stepp, Stephen Stepp, Matt Brown, Adam Brown and Brandon Eason. Junior groomsman was Zach Slone. Ushers were Seth Heupel and Shawn Moore. Wedding coordinators were Janine Haney-Raines and Kristy Smith. Wedding attendants were Ryan Collier, Brad Steele and Chris Raines.
The bride is employed as a language arts and reading teacher at Warfield Middle School and fitness instructor at the Roy F. Collier Community Center. She is a 2005 graduate of Boyd County High School and a 2008 graduate of Morehead State University with a bachelor of arts degree in communication. She will receive a master of arts degree in teaching in December.
The groom is employed as an underground coal miner for Booth Energy. He is a 2002 graduate of Sheldon Clark High School and pursuing a bachelor of science in business at Morehead State University.
His grandparents are Williard and Deanie Nolen and Elise Moore. Special guests were John and Linda Pulliam.
They spent their honeymoon at Emerald Bay, Bahamas. They reside in Inez.
