Brianna Elizabeth Chinn, daughter of Deborah Brown of Coal Grove, and Daniel Shawn Crump, son of Shawn and Sandy Crump of Ashland, were united in marriage on May 16, 2009, at Oakland Avenue Baptist Church in Catlettsburg. The Rev. Mike Blankenship officiated the ceremony, and a reception followed at the OABC Fellowship Hall.
Music was provided by Jon Wellman, pianist, Mike Blankenship and Nikki Robbins, vocals, and Jon Anderson, guitar.
Grandparents of the bride are Charles Brown of Ashland and the late Doris Brown.
Grandparents of the groom are Russell Crump of Ashland and the late Colette Crump and Beulah Crouch of Sharpsburg and the late Omer “Mousie” Crouch.
Stacy L.J. Lynch of Barboursville was the matron of honor. Kaylee Crump, sister of the groom, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Bethany Cox, Kristin Richardson and Jessica Spears. The flower girl was Lauren Spears. Shawn Crump, father of the groom, was the best man. David Chinn, brother of the bride, Sam Elliott, Brian Ramsdell and Chris Spears were groomsmen. Carson Johnson, son of Sharla and the late Grant Johnson, and cousin of the groom, was the ringbearer.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Huntington High School and a 2007 graduate of Marshall University with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. Until recently, the bride was employed at the Child Development Center at KDMC, and is now working for the Wayne County school system. The groom is a 2003 graduate of Paul G. Blazer High School and is employed as a firefighter for the city of Catlettsburg.
The couple honeymooned in Bradenton Beach, Fla., and now reside in Ashland.
