Heather Ross and Toby Kirtley were married Aug. 4, 2012, at the home of Aunt Glenna Ross in Rush in a double-ring ceremony by Marty Gute of The Wedding Chapel in Catlettsburg. A reception followed the ceremony at Aunt Glenna’s home.
The bride, a daughter of Ray and Stella Ross of Ashland, was presented in marriage by her father and her grandfather, Tom Ross.
Maid of honor was Allie Cossett. Bridesmaids were Michelle Stephenson, Judy Eping and Kayley Kirtley. Flower girls were Verda Ross and Sylvania Kirtley. Guest registrars were Angela Leeper and Angel Calhoun.
Best man was Chris Washington. Groomsmen were Cameron Cossett, Daniel Kirtley and Jacob Kirtley. Ring bearers were Ethan Kirtley and Jacob Kirtley Jr.
The bride is a 1993 graduate of Paul G. Blazer High School and is employed with Lester, Inc.
The groom, a son of Denver and Sherry Kirtley of Milton, W.Va., is a 1996 graduate of Cabell Midland High School and is employed with McSweeneys in South Point, Ohio.
After a honeymoon to the Outer Banks, N.C., the couple reside in Flatwoods.
