Greenup County votes to stay dry

GREENUP — Greenup County voted to remain a dry county on Tuesday.

The final totals showed 4,872 voting no and 3,830 voting yes in the special local option election, according to unofficial figures from the Greenup courthouse.

There were 8,702 who voted.

Greenup County voters were asked if they would allow alcohol sales in the county.
